LTI Metaltech is recognised as industrial experts in high integrity welded structures and as such has supported Tokamak Energy with its aim to create the world’s first high field spherical Tokamak ST40 reactor at a fraction of the industry size which in theory will remove the legacy problems of radioactive waste and solve the energy crisis.
Healthcare
LTi Metaltech are proud to have developed its partnership with Siemens and place into full production its vessels, leading to investment for R&D initiatives and latest equipment and facilities. Employing a ‘design to cost’ methodology, our technical experts were able to deliver bespoke solutions at lower costs. As a result of the partnership, weight reduction of the cryogenic vessels was reduced by 20%, and an overall cost and size reduction of 10%.
